Most Awaited Horror Movies of 2018

Sleepovers with friends, horror movies, and a tub of popcorn – the night cannot be more epic than this. Do you agree? But before we get into the details, let’s talk more about what category do you fall under? I secretly hope that you are like me. In any group of friends, we always have two categories of people – the ones that are nail-biting, hiding their face with the pillow, watching the movie in between their fingers and screaming their lungs out (I belong to this set). The other set of people in the same group are the ones who laugh at the former (I don’t like you) and have a great time. We all have at least one person, who laughs at us, don’t we? But despite whatever the reasons are, don’t we all just love watching these movies? Thanks for Netflix and Amazon Prime that we can re-watch the must-watch horror movies and have a spooky and freaky night yet again.

But don’t you agree that the real thrill of watching horror movies is at the theatres more than watching at home? Well, 2018 gives us a lot of chances to have freaky, creepy nights. Here are the most awaited horror movies of 2018. So mark your calendars for the year and get ready to watch the upcoming horror movies.

The Strangers: Prey At Night

Ever since then, I’m sure you wouldn’t have dared to go to creepy houses. Guess what? They are back with their sequel. Want to see what’s in store this time? This movie has already hit the theatres on the 9th March, if you haven’t yet watched it and if you are lucky enough it might just be still playing. If not you can always wait for Netflix to release it.

Halloween

Director: David Gordon Green

Release Date: 19 October 2018

About the movie: This is going to be a nail-biting experience as this is her final confrontation with the masked figure. Will the Director pull this off by making us sit on the edge of our seats or is it going to be a disappointment? We need to find this out on October 19th as it hits the theatres that day, a perfect Halloween watch.

Apart from the above mentioned movies, there are still few more in the store like the house that built jack’, suspiria, tigers are not afraid, slice and more. The release dates for these are not decided as yet. Let’s wait for them to be announced and we could add that to our must watch movies.

So which ones do you think you are going to watch? If you leave it up to me, I’ll end up watching all the movies and also re-watch the previous parts to have a better time while the movie releases. Get ready to gear up and buckle up your seats to enjoy this year. Save your date and make plans to get scared this year. But hey, here is a tip, try eating your popcorn only at intervals as I’m sure you are going to jump off your seats many many times while watching. Don’t you agree?

Travelling and Dancing gives her an adrenaline rush. Strangely her mind works the best when the sun shines on the other side of the planet. Dies every time someone uses the internet slang; as she is a Total Grammar Nazi. Believes that stories are omnipresent and she loves narrating them. She has to be kept away from the TV series as she only knows to binge watch it and when that happens, the world around her vanishes completely.
