Every once in a while, there come movie wedding dresses that are so pretty that we can’t help but imagine ourselves walking the aisle in it. Every girl must have done this at least once in her lifetime. And hello! Can we blame them?
Before beginning, let’s look at the criteria used for ranking the Movie Wedding Dresses
- Movie Wedding Dresses that are classic, timeless, and well-executed are ranked higher. Simple yet stylish dresses that never went out of fashion are definite winners.
- While the ones with cheap material and extra detailing that felt unnecessary are among the low-ranked dresses, both too basic and over-the-top dresses are included in this category.
- Most of the Movie Wedding Dresses are chosen by the characters themselves. So, we are not considering if the dress was fit for the character or not. We are giving liberty and assuming everything fits well.
Of course, many people will have different opinions over these reviews, and we would love to hear all of them in the comments section below.
Here is the list of all the iconic movie wedding dresses that we can remember, along with their reviews. Let’s get started.
- Corina in Always a Bridesmaid

This style is unusual and looks fresh. The sheer skirt is interesting. The top is gorgeous, and the detailing is lovely. But the top should have been more fitted from where the sleeves are attached. We are totally digging her veil and her headband.
- Shelby in Steel Magnolias

IMDb rating: 7.3/10
We absolutely love the princess-y vibe of this one. And finally, a movie wedding dresses with sleeves that are just perfect without any Ifs and buts. The details on the sleeves are pretty and look like an extension of the top without looking like an afterthought.

Love the pop of color the belt adds to the dress, unlike other movie wedding dresses. In fact, the belt makes the dress more interesting. Otherwise, the skirt feels like it starts a little low.

This dress has a lot going on and could have used a little less detailing. Still, we love the romantic and bohemian theme. Her hair and crown add a cherry on the top.
- Cinderella in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella
Director: Robert Iscove

The symbolic roses, the neckline, the skirt, and the V-cut of the bodice are all very appealing. We only wish the sleeves were a bit longer, but the rest of the dress is beautiful.

Director: Gary Winick

Elegant, sophisticated, and understated with gorgeous sleeves and neckline. Absolutely stunning. Slight points are off only because it feels a little too mature for 18 years old Bella.
- Candace in Think Like a Man Too
Director: Tim Story
Initial release: 20 June 2014
